Connecting (Mapping) .com.np with Blogger

.Com.Np domain is a Country Code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) of Nepal.

If you have already registered .com.np domain, then you are ready to connect your free domain with blogger.

On this article, I will show how to connect or map free .com.np domain with blogger .

You must have a blog that is powered by Blogger to continue.

You will also need a registered domain. Read my previous article on how to register a free .com.np domain for lifetime for reference.

How to connect .com.np with Blogspot

Follow the given steps below carefully to make .com.np working with Blogger:

Step 1:
Firstly visit freedns.afraid.org and click on "Sign Up" (scroll down to bottom).



Step 2: Now you will be redirected to "Available Membership Levels Page". You are creating a free blog with limited features. So select "Starter package" on "Membership Pricing" tab.


Step 3:
Fill up the form with your personal details that appears next, on "Create your account page".

Step 4:
Tick on "I agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions" check box and then click on send activation email button as shown in screenshot above (step 3)

Step 5:
You will shortly receive a confirmation link. Check your email inbox. Once you click on the verification link, you can easily login to Free Dns and manage your domain.

Step 6:
After logging in, click on domains shown at the left hand side of the screen.


Step 7:
Now input your registered "yourdomain.com.np" and click on add domain.

Step 8:
Click on Subdomains at the left hand side of the screen. Then click "add".

Step 9: Important!
Change type to "A" and destination to "216.239.32.21" as shown in screenshot below, Leave other fields empty and click save.

Similarly using same methods, add 3 more sub domains all with type "A" but destinations:

216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21


Step 10:
This is the most crucial step. Open new tab on browser by pressing "CTRL + T" and visit:
Blogger>> Dashboard>> Settings>> Basic Settings>> Setup a 3rd party URL for your blog.



Step 11:
Input your .com.np domain in the box and click save. Blogger will show an error. Note the words highlighted on blue as shown below.


Step 12:
Visit FreeDns page on browser tab. Click on your domain name in sub domain list. Change type to "CNNAME" and add sub domain "www" with destination "ghs.google.com" . Then Click save.

Step 13:
Add new CNNAME record. Copy the blue highlighted words on left site of Blogger Custom Domain Setup page (check screenshot in step 11) and paste in "sub domains". Similarly copy and paste the words on right side in destination.

Step 14:
Go to Blogger >> Settings >> Custom Domains Setup. Now input your domain name in the box and click save. Your settings will be saved.

Step 15:
Again click on "Custom domain setup". Tick on the box that has message "Redirect www to yourdomain.com ". Click save.
